Vocal Rize FX

Vocal Rize FX

Add movement and depth to your vocal transitions.

Vocal Rize FX is a creative effect designed to transform a syllable or the end of a phrase into a real musical transition. It captures an element of the voice, repeats it, raises or lowers its pitch, thickens it and creates reverse effects, all precisely synchronized to the tempo of the track.

Designed to stay fast to use, Vocal Rize FX lets you build in a few settings effects that would normally require several tracks, edits, automations and separate processors.

Features

Phoneme

Selects the syllable, vowel or expressive vocal fragment that will become the source material for the effect.

Capture

Captures the selected audio fragment and prepares its repetition, processing and tempo synchronization. The capture duration can be adjusted to the desired result.

Trigger

Defines the exact moment when the effect is triggered. Triggering can be manual or synced to the musical position: beat, quarter note, eighth note, sixteenth note and more, with advance or delay settings.

Repeat

Repeats the captured vocal fragment from 1 to 4 times and controls the spacing between repetitions in tempo sync.

Pitch

Gradually moves the pitch of the voice. Pitch can rise, fall or move back and forth, with amplitude, duration, curve and offset controls.

Double

Thickens the vocal effect by generating several voices slightly shifted in time and pitch, with detune and stereo width controls.

Reverse

Creates reverse movement from the captured voice or repetitions, useful for build-up suction effects or reverse transitions.

Intensity

A macro control used to quickly increase or reduce the overall intensity of the transition without editing every parameter one by one.

Random mode

Generates controlled creative variations by modulating selected parameters, for less repetitive transitions and new sound ideas.

Dry / Wet

Balances the original voice and the generated effect.

Dynamic visualization (Expert Mode)

A graphic display lets you follow repetitions, bounces, pitch direction, doubling and reverse movement in real time.

Tempo Sync

The main time-based parameters are synchronized with the DAW tempo to keep the transition perfectly locked to the track, with manual adjustment also available.

FAQ

What is Vocal Rize FX for?

It creates vocal risers, transitions and textures from a source voice, without having to manually build every layer.

Is it only for singers?

No. It can be useful for singers, producers, arrangers, musicians, studios and audio creators. It can also be used on instrument riffs, synths or other audio sources.

What are the system requirements?

A recent Apple Silicon or Intel Mac, a recent macOS version, WAV or AIFF files for optimal quality, and headphones or monitoring speakers for accurate effect settings.

How is it different from a simple pitch effect?

Vocal Rize FX is designed as a complete creative chain: processing, riser, texture, balance and export, rather than one isolated setting. At the moment, no available effect performs this transformation with this combination of effects.

What does the Deluxe version add?

It adds the standalone application in addition to the AU and VST plugins. It can load WAV files and save the sound with the effect or the effect alone.
An upgrade from the Standard version to the Deluxe version will be available.
The standalone application may also be available separately on the App Store.

What is a DAW?

DAW stands for “Digital Audio Workstation”. It is software such as Cubase, n-Track Studio or Logic Pro that lets you work with audio and MIDI files.
